Except tour, exceptional guide

We had an amazing day on our tour!

Pick up was right on time, and we were able to get into the museum before all the big tour bus crowds. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, and we learned a lot on our tour of the museum.

The Citadel was also beautiful, and having the opportunity to walk the grounds while hearing the rich history really brought the buildings to life.

Lunch was an excellent buffet, and our guide made a special stop at a nearby jewelry store to ensure I was buying jewelry from a reputable source.

Our guide specifically asked us if there was anything we were looking for, and took us to the best vendors within Khan Khalili. Otherwise, we would have wandered for hours looking for the items on our list. While doing this, we got to hear about the history of the area, and it felt like a trip back in time.

If you're trying to decide between a large tour or a private tour, this in the best one without a doubt. Private transportation, the ability to have all our questions answered and help finding everything we were looking for really makes this tour second to none.

I would very highly recommend this tour, or an tour through Emo Tours.

Loved this tour. It captures the civilization museum, citadel, Mohammad Ali mosque and Khan-a-khalili bazar. Our guide Afifi was great, very funny, friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a few tips on how to shop at the bazar so we don’t overpay as they would charge more money because we are tourists. The restaurant we went (which was included in the tour) had great buffet style food. I would recommend this tour to all my friends because I had an awesome time!

Did this tour as the first site seeing in Cairo, Mohammed was my tour guide, he was very punctual to pick me up on time. He was very informative and made the trip a friendly experience. We also managed to integrate NMEC where we saw 22 royal mummies. Will recommend this.
Overall good, with some exceptions

Ahmed was very informative of the citadel and he included a lot of things which weren't on the itinerary for no additional cost which was most welcomed. It's clear that he loves sharing information with people who are interested and he's a good tour guide.
However, for the bazaar section of the tour he did nothing. The tour says that it is guided, but he sat down and had tea and dis not accompany us. It made us leave the bazaar early as we had no idea where we were going in there.
He also flew through the museum part without waiting for us to finish looking at exhibits. At one point he told me to keep up and that the things we were looking at weren't important. I actually had to tell him that we were going to look at whatever we wanted, after that his interest in the tour diminished noticeably.
