Amazing!

This was an amazing journey and well worth the driving! . This was our third excursion with Ahmed and the service has been excellent! He has provided us with refreshments and kept us entertained. It was a private trip and this allowed us to sleep. Arriving in cairo early we done the Nile Trip first then made our way to the museum. Our guide showed us many monuments before allowing time to browse ourselves. We had 45 minutes although maybe longer would have been better. There was so much to see! The lunch was a buffet style in a very clean restaurant with plenty of options.
We journeyed to the papharos museum to be shown how paper was made and to purchase picture parchments. Following this we journeyed out of cairo and to Giza. Mamatouh (mama) our guide was very knowledgeable.

We journeyed to the pyramids and had a camel ride across the desert. Friends went on a horse drawn carriage ride. The boy was excellent and took many photos of us individually and as a group. Would highly recommend paying the extra to do this! Following this we went into the middle pyramid entering the burial chamber. It was very hot! A short walk allowed a panoramic view of the biggest pyramid before journeying to the sphinx for pictures and more information from mama.

we lastly stopped into a perfumist we’re we were told the history of perfume making. This had much needed aircon. The sellers were not pushy and as a result we spent a small fortune between us for gifts. Although a long day it was well worth it and excellent value for money! If we return to Egypt we would do this again!
Excellent day trip to the Pyramids from Hurghada!

Family trip with 11 year old and 14 year old. A fantastic day out from our Hurghada hotel - and well worth the private experience.

First - it is an early start being 2am (6 hour drive) - so having your own air con mini bus - with wifi, TV and most important space for the kids to sleep was critical. Then multiple excellent experiences : 2 drivers Ahmed 1 and Ahmed 2! Fluent English lots of friendly service - water and stops as required - and always thinking of us

Second, the local expertise - to get us to venues early and quick access to the museum before the chaos of 100+ other buses turning up! You can choose to take a tour bus - but then you are trapped with the throngs of tourists- and the additional challenge of the tour operator dealing with many nationalities - as well as long queues!

Third, lots of police checkpoints - which was very reassuring - minibus quick to pass through - big bus not so quick!

Fourth, superb guide in Mr Mamdouh - passionate about his job and sharing all his knowledge as well as the best tips for all the sightseeing we did

Fifth - it is just incredibly impressive to be in the presence of the Pyramids and indeed the entire Pyramid complex!

Tips
We did upgrade from the normal tour to private minibus - and this was an excellent and fortunate choice
Do bring a sweater or top for the bus as aircon can get too cold whilst you sleep
We did the extra private Nike cruise - which again beat the throngs of tourists (handy when you have tired kids)
We also paid extra for a camel ride - which did provide a more panoramic Pyramid view / and since we were here a nominal fee to say we entered the inside of the Pyramid just had to be done!
Interesting stops at a Papyrus shop and a perfume shop - all good, no hard sell

Most of all our drivers made us feel safe comfortable and well looked after!

I recommend the private tour for its speed and convenience- especially if you have kids - and the icing on the cake is excellent customer centricity

Well done Ramashka Tours and Ahmed 1 (our primary driver)

Amazing experience from Hurghada to Cairo

A truly amazing day and superbly organised and timed by Ahmed and Ahmed 1! The bus was comfortable with WiFi and TV to help the kids with the long drive. All security points were dealt with and put us at ease every step of the way. Both drivers took it in turns to ensure they had a break which was a really nice touch as 6hours is a long way for one person. We stopped off at a great coffee stop on the way which was safe and had great coffee!!

Our guide, Mamdouh, who Ahmed organised for us was amazing! Not only had so much knowledge but a beautiful and interesting way to share it for us and the kids- we all learnt so much.

Both Ahmed and Mamdouh made the day run so smoothly, helped us avoid big queue and kept us safe throughout the whole day. The minibus would drop us off and then be right there when we needed to move on- no waiting around.

Nothing was too much trouble- bottles of cold water and snacks offered constantly to make us all feel comfortable. We even stopped off for a McDonald’s on the way home at my sons request!!

All my concerns and worries were completely put at ease as soon as we stepped into the mini bus.

I could not recommend Ahmed enough- him and Ahmed 1 and Mamdouh made the day so special and easy.

Highly recommend for a day trip to Cairo

We had an excellent trip with Ahmed and Ramashka tours! We enjoyed our Luxor trip so much we booked our Cairo trip with them as well. The large van gave plenty of room to relax and sleep for our family of two adults and three kids, and had a tv. The drive took about 7 hours and we arrived just as the Egyptian Museum was opening.

Our tour guide for the day was Mama, who is knowledgeable and passionate about ancient Egypt. We highly recommend him! We also went with the optional 45 minute Nile boat cruise and enjoyed that as well. Lunch was very good, and then we visited the pyramids and Sphinx complex. I recommend doing the camel ride for a fun experience with amazing views and pictures, away from the crowds. Great Sphinx visit and history with Mama. A quick no-pressure trip to the papyrus factory for a demonstration, drink, and bathroom break ended the day before our drive back to Hurghada. We felt safe the whole time. Highly recommend!
Well organised, safe, interesting, recommended

Transfer with new, comfy minivan. We were able to sleep on the way to Cairo.

Once arrived to Cairo we were joined by the main guide for the day Mammoudh (Mama). One of the best guides we ever had, whole day he was sharing lots of information about history, culture, city etc. And he presented it well, in an interesting manner.

In the morning we were offered Nile Boat tour. 10eur pp. I don't think it's necessary, I can't recommend it unless you want to get some refreshing air after few hours on the bus.

Museum itself was just okay (they were moving lots of artifacts to new museum) but guide Mammoudh made it interesting and worth the visit.

We were taken to papyrus factory/shop. That was unexpected for us but it turned out to be good 10-20 min to see how papyrus is made. We didn't buy anything and they weren't too pushy. Just tip the guide in the shop and leave.

Pyramids visit was great. At the end we were suggested camel ride, we took it with some hesitation but it actually was very cool especially if you haven't ridden camel before. ~20min scenic ride with pictures by camel keeper.

Finally we went to perfume producer/shop. They told us about prefume making process, gave complimentary tea and refreshing drink. It was interesting and we ended up buying something. It's again a worthwhile short visit they didn't seem too pushy, just tip the host and leave if you're not looking to buy.
