What To Expect

Pyramids of Giza
Begin this half-day tour of the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx straight from your hotel in Cairo. Head toward the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus and discover the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. Egyptologists believe the Pyramid of Cheops (also known as the Great Pyramid of Giza) was built as a tomb for the Egyptian Pharaoh Khofo and constructed over a 14 to 20-year period in 2560 BC.

Afterwards, continue on toward the Great Sphinx. The Sphinx has the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body and dates back to the time of Chephren. This sphinx was made to guard the pyramids of King Chefren. Next, visit the Valley Temple which belonged to the Pyramids of Chephren. The temple acted as a place for the purification and mummification process of the king before burial.

My childhood dream came true and Mo made it very memorable and special. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and my trip memorable.

We booked this tour fairly last minute once we arrived in Cairo. It covered all what we needed to see. I cannot thank Haitham our tour guide enough. He was professional, prompt and extremely knowledgable. Never did we feel rushed, all aspects of the tour was simply great. If you are looking for a good quality 3-4 hour tour then do not hesitate to book this one.

We had the pleasure of doing a half day tour to the Pyramids of Giza. Our guide was Mohamed. His knowledge of Ancient Egyptian history was phenomenal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend this expert team.

I enjoyed a half day tour visiting the pyramids, sphinx & a camel ride with my two adult daughters. Our guide Gamil was very informative and fun. He’s also an excellent photographer, and we came away with a lot of creative photos to help us remember a very fun day. I would recommend this tour.
