Our driver was also very helpful, he was always there to pick us up, and he also surprised us with some fresh dates on our way back to the hotel.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a profound glimpse into Cairo in just two days. They also speak fluent english, and are very flexible.
But my guide Sherif made my visit to Egypt so amazing i felt compelled to come and write a review.
I am well traveled and after seeing a couple dozen countries and being on dozens of tours I must say this was up in my top 2 experiences EVER. Probably the best trip of my life! I did the Giza Pyramids twice. Once with this tour and our guide Sherif and once on my own. By far having our guide took away any of the hassles and inconveniences i had encountered without him. This trip in my opinion is waaay underpriced for the incredible bargain you get.
I would definitely recommend this tour with Sherif. He is a legit Egyptologist with a wealth of knowledge that'll just blow your mind. Just book the tour, you won't regret it. You'll spend 5 times more money if you don't get the tour just based off of how many times you'll be ripped off for not having a guide... believe me, it happened to me.
The price is ridiculously low. All tickets are included as well as lunches for both days. You will spend the same just on tickets and taxis between the sites with no guide if you try to do it yourself.
And the guide. If you buy this tour - ask for Fatima. She made this tour unforgettable, being absolutely passionate about her job and history of this interesting country. She was chatty, always ready to help and adapt, answered any of our questions about history, current life of the country and on recommendations where to have dinner. We visited during Ramadan, so all museums closed at 15.00, but she managed to organise everything so that we made it to all points. On top of that she was able to keep the pace of storytelling even in the middle of the heat and fasting without water (you remember we had this tour during Ramadan?). So all in all Fatima was the one, who made us enjoy Cairo and admire great history of Egypt.
