our guide will pick you up from your hotel in cairo or giza then by private car transfer to visit Coptic old Cairo city , first start with Babylon fortress 98 B.C. by roman emperor Trajan then visit the hanging church which date back to 3rd century and was built on the 2 tower remain from babylon fortress then going to visit the holy crypt church as we believed the holy family stayed their for three month then visit the Jewish community to visit ben ezra synagogue and your guide will explain about Jewish history and their coming to Egypt and prophet Moses

Cave Church

Formally known as St. Simon the Tanner Monastery, Cairo’s vast Cave Church pays tribute to a miracle St. Simon (also written St. Samaan or St. Simeon) is believed to have performed. The city’s Coptic Orthodox Christian garbage collectors (Zabbaleen) dug the church out of the Mokattam mountain during the 1970s.

Mona and her driver were fantastic! I really enjoyed this excursion. The only problem I faced was with her boss Hasham. After booking the tour on Viator for a car driver (including pickup from the hotel) and you guide. I received an email, phone call, and what’s app messages telling me I needed to pay $25 USD in order to make the trip worth it for his team. He also gave the alternative of booking a taxi from Giza myself to meet his team. I found the advertisement on Viator misleading.

I really enjoyed seeing the churches. Mona is the best guide and I highly recommend you to book with her! She had great knowledge and knows how to carry a conversation. The driver was also fantastic as he could deal with the witty banter.

I did have a negative experience making the booking initially with the owner of the company Hesham. The booking on Viator stated Car, Driver, (including pick up from our hotel) and Tour Guide. After I paid, I received an email from Hisham telling me I need to pay $25 USD additional in order to be picked up from my hotel for gas. Or I could book a cab myself and meet his team in Giza.

I did pay because I wanted to attend the tour, but I felt the ad was misleading.

Yasser was a wonderful tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about all things Egypt. He was very accommodating to all my questions and needs. I traveled solo but felt very safe. He also takes great photos. I would recommend this company and yasser to anyone who would like to learn the history of Egypt. Also the driver was great but I can't remember his name lol.
