Had a lovely time with Sam he took his time and knowledge to show us around.
Making sure the girls would get their touristy pictures with the sphinx and pyramids.
We had a lovely time at the museum and the food was absolutely smashing.
The Perfect Cairo Excursion

It was mine and my husband's first time in Egypt (and in Africa/Middle East) so we were keen to see the famous sights of Cairo but wanted to stay in Hurghada. Though expensive, this trip was without a doubt the most convenient and comprehensive way to cover the main tourist attractions of Cairo & Giza and be back home by bedtime!
We were apprehensive beforehand about such a big trip where we would be dependent upon strangers to organise everything, but we needn't have worried as everything worked like clockwork. Our guide Sam and our two drivers were all bang on time, the friendliest people and kept us in constant communication via WhatsApp.
We started at the markets - early morning before most vendors were open, which was lovely to walk the streets before the morning chaos and sample some sugar cane juice, freshly made before our eyes. We then visited the Egyptian museum in time for opening where we were led by our guide through each of the museum highlights. Our tour guide Sam was a fount of remarkable historical and cultural knowledge with an almost encyclopedic memory of all the Egyptian dynasties!
The pyramids and sphinx were next (and as mind-blowing as you'd expect) where Sam led us to all the best panoramic photo shots and took some incredible pictures. He also recommended a reputable camel ride vendor, and kindly informed him I was a bit nervous so I was taken extra care of!
Finally we had a choice of shops to visit (we chose Papyrus and souvenirs - both authentic and government-approved) and had a delicious lunch at a proper Egyptian restaurant. We were delivered at the airport in plenty of time by our lovely driver, who navigated the chaotic roads of Cairo with ease, and we were picked up promptly back at Hurghada airport to be taken to our hotel.
It was a whirlwind day - early start and late finish - but you are well taken care of start to finish and we felt safe and in good hands every step of the way. We would wholeheartedly recommend this trip to anyone staying in Hurghada wanting to see the sights of Cairo. Thank you Reflections Travel!!
