Sam was an excellent tour guide. He made us feel welcome and was incredibly knowledgeable. Not only did he teach us so much, he also gave us spare time to explore on our own and take some photos. Never felt pressured for time or to purchase anything. Also the restaurant we went to for lunch had the best chicken!
Excellent tour with Shereen

The tour was excellent. We covered every single place listed on the tour description. Shereen was excellent and her driver Abou was also very good. Shereen was very knowledgeable so I would recommend her. This is a must do tour here in Luxor.
The best of Luxor

We had an incredible day touring the East and West banks with our guide, Ahmed Mostafa from Emo Tours.

The tour started on time, and Ahmed Mostafa gave us a great overview of Egyptian history and how the temples in Luxor fit into the timelines of the various Egyptian dynasties.

The tombs in the Valley for Kings are HOT, so be prepared with lots of water and good footwear to make the climb in and out of the tombs easier. One tomb in particular goes down about 100ft and was easily 45 degrees Celsius. In total, we visited 3 tombs and they're definitely worth toughing out the high temperatures.

Ahmed Mostafa gave us a lot of interesting information along the way, and shared hand outs with common Arabic words and historical information to help us along the way.

Lunch at Paris Restaurant in Luxor was excellent, and is worth visiting just on its own. I highly recommend the beef tagine.

The tours of the Luxor and Karnak temples were just as thorough, and Ahmed Mosfafa took the time to teach us what some hieroglyphic symbols and numbers meant to ensure we understood more of what we were seeing.

This was a lengthy tour. We started at 9am and finished around 6:30pm, but we did ask Ahmed Mostafa to be very detailed in his explanations and he certainly delivered. He was an excellent tour guide who clearly loves what he does and his passion certainly showed through during the tour.

Overall, I would highly recommend this tour. You'll certainly get your money's worth and leave feeling like you've seen some of the best Luxor has to offer. Just remember to wear good shoes and sun / UVshirts to keep you cool.
