What To Expect

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities

The Egyptian Museum of Cairo contains 120,000 artifacts. It houses the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities. An extensive collection of papyrus, Greek, Roman, and Islamic coins used in the Ancient world are located in the 1st floor. The best statues you will see is the Gold Mask of Tutankhamun. The room also host the famous collection of the young king as well as a lot of sarcophagi from different dynasties. These sarcophagi give us a brief about how rich the owners were. Do not forget to have a loot at the Grave Mask of king Amenemope, Mummy mask of Psusennes I, Figurine of Khufu, Narmer Palette, and Merneptah Stele .

the greet sphinx that belongs to king pharaoh Khafra. It is a huge stone transformed into an amazing architectural statue. also, we will visit the Valley Temple. then up to the pyramids Panorama area to take snap photos with pyramids and sphinx in the background – don’t forget to bring your camera with you during this tour.

My son and I had a long awaited visit to this most fantastic of ancient histories finally come through - and in the hands of Egypt Day Tours, what a tremendous experience!. Egypt is absolutely open for visitors, and made very welcome. Egypt Day Tours is ultra professional, fully trusted, and has your interests at heart. From our initial contact, meeting us at the Airport, taking care of all our needs over a 4 day trip covering the Pyramids, Sphinx, fabulous Memphis and Saqqara, the 1901 Museum, the Citadel and Mosque, the Churches, Synagogue and eateries, before waving a fond farewell back at the Airport for now, we were with great people....

Mr Maro, the boss & most responsive contact around, our main guide Eslam & support Azem, our driver Mohammed, were with us every safe step of the way and totally exceeded our expectations. Their knowledge, method of sharing it in a fun way, and advice on what to see and do was both memorable and appreciated.

We are looking forward to meeting the team again for Alexandria, Luxor and Aswan in the future. I can recommend these guys (they were recommended to us by good friends) to get the best product and service - but don't take our word for it, please try them!.

I loved how knowledgeable and fun our guide Khalid was. It was so enjoyable walking around with him. We saw the pyramids, the Sphinx, took a sail boat on the Nile, hit up a market for street food, and went to the Egyptian Museum. It was a full day of making memories

Cairo day trip

I and my mother have come from Bangladesh to travel around Egypt. I and my other family members were worried beacuse because of the distance and unfamiliar environment. But then had our day trip in Cairo. And it was amazing. I was absolutely tension free just after meeting my day trip guide, Loay. He greeted us with a smiling face and our tour began. The unfamiliar place became so friendly and tension free. And he is a nice photographer too.
