What To Expect

Valley of the Kings

Your qualified Egyptologist Guide will pick you up from either your hotel/Nile Cruise in Luxor or Luxor International Airport and accompany you on your visit to the West Bank where you can see the famous Valley of the Kings where there are many kings buried in this valley. The most known tombs are King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamun, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari

Then proceed to visit the majestic Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty 1490-1469 B.C the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt.

After this we will carry onto the colossi of Memnon where you have the opportunity to take some photographs.

We now journey to the East Bank in Luxor. Lunch at a local restaurant. After your lunch we will proceed to visit Karnak Temples the greatest example of worship in history dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu.

Luxor Temple

End your tour by visiting the beautiful Temple Of Luxor which was built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. After you have finished your tours you will be transferred back to your Hotel in Luxor or Luxor International Airport.

Mohsen is Awesome. Very knowledgeable and attentive tour guide. Well versed in History and hieroglyphics he. Has patience. He really helped us enjoy this experience to the fullest extent . If I could I would date him higher than 5 stars. Most definitely come Egypt. and check him out . He also took me to some of the best shops to do shopping where I wasn’t harassed about buying things. We had a very wonderful day with our guide Roshdy (who is very knowledgeable) visiting the valley of kings and temple of Hatshepsut. We enjoyed it so much that we actually decided to go with him to Karnak temple as well.

Although seeing those ancient temples is simply breathtaking, I would really recommend visiting the sites with a (professional) Egyptologist. It really reveals so many hidden treasures and informations you wouldn’t otherwise see from just visiting.

Moshes is a great guide, he is very kind and pacient and he made sure we understood before continuing. Buy the extra tickets for the Ramses V and VI tumbs, we were almost alone in that tumb and It made it easier to take pictures and to admire it.
