Tomb of Ramases IX
Tomb of King Ramesses lX was the third pharaoh of the Twentieth Dynasty of the New Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. His name prior to assuming the crown was Amonhirkhopshef. He was the fifth son of Ramesses III and was appointed to the position of the crown prince by the twenty-second year of his father's reign when all four of his elder brothers predeceased his promotion to the crown prince. The tomb has so much colour and details even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.

Tomb of Merenptah
In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. In the or simply in its falcon form of the new deity, it began to be placed in tombs to accompany and protect the dead on their journey to the West of Luxor. Tomb 8, which is located in the Valley of the Kings, was the burial place of the Pharaoh Merneptah and is the model of royal tombs Merneptah was a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret.the tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Of course there is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs.

Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers.

Our tour started at 3:20am, when we were picked up by our driver to head over to the hot air balloon. The hot air balloon experience was absolutely amazing, just be sure to bring $20 if you want the video on a usb drive where they film your experience. After watching the sunrise, we met Dr. Mo and jumped straight into our tour. The sites were beautiful and Dr. Mo made sure to tailor the tour to our needs. His explanations were thorough, funny and were done under the shade, to keep us cool from the sun. Midway we were taken to Restaurant Paris, which had the most amazing food! Then we changed the Felucca ride to be during the day, to cut down on our time, since the heat was becoming unbearable. Dr. Mo set us up with his best guys who took care of us and made us feel at home on the boat. It was the perfect way to cool off, we even got to dip our feet in the Nile which was refreshing. Finally, we went Luxor Temple and Karnak to finish off our tour. So many beautiful sites to take in. Unfortunately, I was becoming sick from the heat and Dr. Mo was quick to walk us through the shaded areas and get us back to our hotel. I’m so happy with this experience and can’t wait to return. Thank you Dr. Mo for a beautiful day in Luxor, from start to finish!
First time in Luxor

Our tour has been a wonderful experience from the very beginning. We booked with Dr Mo and he was in contact with us right away and ensured we had transportation from the airport to our hotel. We promptly received a pickup time for our tour and hot air balloon ride which will be a cherished memory. I was advised it would be too hot to do the tour during this time of year however he has made sure to go at our pace. We were taken to eat authentic Egyptian food which was a great way to immerse yourself in the culture. He has so much knowledge and explained everything in a way that was fun and easy to understand. This tour has been the highlight if our trip.
AMAZING!!!
