Reviews

professional, private, personalised, and absolutely informative yet entertaining... ask for Ehab as we did...

We were lucky with our tour guide Ehab, he has made my husband look forward to and enjoy the museum trip (which is unknowingly a huge feat for Ehab and a first for my husband as he absolutely HATED the very concept of visiting one).. the whole tour has been this way, informative, interesting, entertaining and more so personalised...

Aside from gaining knowledge and visiting well known sites (even one that isn't known to most tourists), we were looking forward to experience life as locals do and see where and how real life is away from tourism facades... Ehab understood and appreciated our sincerity
and he made sure we did...

He made sure we drove around areas where we the homeless live, where lower and working class do and helped us understand that despite difficulty, there is no desperation, only Egyptian strength and stubbornness to live and thrive... Kudos to Islam our driver who managed to drive though impossibly narrow alley ways dodging donkey carts, tuktuks and what not without a single scratch... Ehab made sure we had coffee as locals have them, roadside refreshing drink (carob) and lunch ( we have asked to try a camel dish together which he made sure we did)...

We felt the hospitality and warmth of everyone... from the coffee shop owner, the carob juice peddler, camel shop owner who ran off to get the freshest ingredients prepared and cooked (by Mustafa infront of us) and the locals around who were surprised to see unconventional tourists choosing to enjoy lunch as everyone does, they would smile and acknowledge yet mind their own tasks and leave us to enjoy our own... the tour is such a beautiful experience in its entirety...

Tour companies are everywhere (and we have tried a lot everywhere), unfortunately, Ehab's warmth and understading isn't... Ehab felt like family and he made sure to impart the best of what egypt can offer.. knowledge, antiquities and warmth...
