Day-Trip to Luxor
Thys1981, 20-09-2022
We made the day-trip with Ramashka-Tour. The driver Ahmed, who is a very kind person, picked us up on time at 5 am in our hotel. The bus had even wifi and TV. We arrived in Luxor at 8.45 which quite fast (first bus from Hurghada). Our Guide Shaban was very well imformed, very kind and gave us a lot of information. The lunch was delicious. So all in all a very pleasant day - we would do it again with Ramashka-Tour.

Day tour with Tui. The trip to the Valley of the Kings was mind blowing, the site, the history, was absolutely amazing and breath taking.
Knowledgeable, accommodating and Catered to small group!

Ahmed was very accommodating, he picked us up on time and set off stopping briefly to let us watch the sunset and providing croissants and water for breakfast. Our friend was car sick and he let her sit at the front and was very patient. We arrived at our hotel late the night before and therefore the tour was for just us as a group to accommodate.

Our first stop was Temple of Karnak. We met ‘Said’ our tour guide and Egyptologist. He was very knowledgeable and walked us around explaining the temple and it’s construction. We then left and headed for lunch at a restaurant on the Nile. This was fantastic as around friend was vegetarian and was accommodated for. Lunch was followed by a boat trip on the Nile and on to Valley of the Kings. We went into three temples, the longest, the steepest and the most colourful. Lastly we journeyed to temple of hatshepsut which was by far the best temple for size.

Cannot fault Said or Ahmed enough. They were both very knowledgable, accommodating and well mannered. Highly recommend this trip!

We are booked to go to cairo this coming Saturday with the same company!
Awesome guide

We had an amazing time. Said, our guide, was awesome. He was such a nice, patient and knowledgeable man. It was really nice that we got to Karnak temple before most of the tourists arrived, but that was because our driver was driving extremely fast. It was scary at times and we couldn’t nap on our way there because all the bumps and swerves. It was exhausting but worth it!
Beautiful and very impressing

Went on a bus tour from Hurghada to Luxor. Pick up time was 05.00 AM and the ride to Luxor took 5 hours. Roads were good but 5 hours is a long time but it was definitely worth it. Went to several temples and tombs in Valley of the Kings. Stunning and amazing how a lot still is preserved very well. Incredible culture . Definitely a must see when you have the opportunity. Only downside was the long drive with the bus and the very aggressive people trying to sell souvenirs. To protect your self you have to completely ignore them. We also took a boat tour from the west side of the nile to the east side but to be honest that was not so special as I hoped. But the temples, statues, and buildings were great to see.
