What To Expect

Temple of Philae

Our Private Tour Guide will pick you up from your hotel/Nile Cruise in luxor by A / C vehicle to explore the sights in Aswan and will visit the Temple of Isis at Philae which its construction started during the reign of Ptolemy II and completed by the Roman emperors. And it was dedicated to goddess Isis which was considered the mother of god and she is the mother god Horus and the consort of God Osiris .

Aswan High Dam

Time to break for Lunch. After enjoying your lunch we will take a visit to the amazing High Dam which is one of the most important achievements of the last century in Egypt .It Contains 18 times the material used in the great pyramid of Cheops and It provides Egypt with the water and electricity and secures the country from the destructive inundation of the Nile River.

Unfinished Obelisk

Then journey on to visit the Unfinished Obelisk which shows how the ancient Egyptians cut the stone. It is believed this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatchepsut one of the rulers of the 18th Dynasty. When you have finished your tour you will be transferred back to your starting point.

I had an amazing day trip to Aswsn from Luxor. I booked this tour with Reflections Travel. Everything went smoothly from my pick up time after breakfast till I get back to the hotel. The tour guide Mr/Mohsen made my trip a memorable one. He was very passionate about the history of the temples and the ancient civilization not only the past but also nowadays life and culture of the Egyptians.

Fun Trip to Aswan

My family had a wonderful time sightseeing in Aswan. Roshdy, our tour guide with Reflections Travels, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He made the experience quite pleasant. We toured Edfu temple, Philae temple, the High Dam, and unfinished Obelisk with a refreshing lunch in-between. At the end, since there was no wind for a felucca, he even let us stop by a local spice shop and incense shop.
